DEFENSE VERDICT FOR ENT PHYSICIAN IN LAKE COUNTY

On March 26, 2026, Kathleen Erickson and Kelly McFadden of O’Neill McFadden & Willett LLP, obtained a defense verdict on behalf of their client in Lake County, Indiana after a 40 minute jury deliberation. The defendant is an ENT physician. The Plaintiff alleged that the defendant caused a brain injury during an exposure procedure, which provided access to a pituitary tumor that was then removed by a neurosurgeon. The award sought from the jury was 20 million dollars.
