Court of Appeals Affirms Summary Judgment in Favor of OMW Client in Legal Malpractice Claim

Mike O’Neill, Nate Hansen, and Dan Glavin recently won in the Indiana Court of Appeals when the court affirmed a trial court ruling granting summary judgment to OMW’s attorney client. In a case alleging legal malpractice related to an underlying bankruptcy matter, the trial court had entered summary judgment for the Defendant lawyers on the basis that the plaintiff had failed to tender appropriate expert testimony to establish the standard of care or damages.
