OMW Secures Defense Verdict for Two Infectious Disease Physicians in a Medical Malpractice Jury Trial

Mike O’Neill and Kelly McFadden have successfully defended two Infectious Disease Physicians in a jury trial in Marion County Superior Court, Indianapolis, Indiana. The Plaintiff alleged that the Defendants negligently failed to identify an infection following open heart surgery resulting in the patient’s death. The jury heard nine days of evidence between September 25, 2017 and October 5, 2017 and then returned a verdict in favor of the Infectious Disease Physicians.
